Renee Pepin
Yarn Department Manager

Renee has been knitting since her grandmother taught her when she was in high school.  Her knitting remained basic for the next few years until she went to college and began to develop her craft, taking lessons from and knitting with instructors with generations of experience.  Passionate about fiber and color, Renee also experiments with weaving and spinning, although knitting remains at the forefront.  Renee works for a nonprofit organization in Cambridge researching mental health interventions.

Stephanie Mann
Creativity Consultant, Knitting

Originally from Richmond, VA, Stephanie was taught to knit and crochet by her grandmother when she was quite young. She didn't really pick it back up in earnest until 2004 when she realized that it was a perfect thing to do while backstage. Many scarves and hats later, she expanded her repertoire to include socks and sweaters. A busy opera singer, a bag of knitting now goes with her to every rehearsal and performance she's in. When not singing, knitting, and keeping her two cats, Maggie and Jack from eating her yarn stash, she works in the
Tuitions Office at Perkins School for the Blind.
