Teach a Craft Class at Spark

If you are interested in teaching a class at Spark Craft Studios, please contact our Store Manager at hello@sparkcrafts.com or 617.441.5200 for details.   We are looking for contract (1099) instructors to teach their own unique classes in any of the following categories: knitting, crocheting, embroidery, cross-stitch, beaded jewelry making, metal clay, card making, scrapbooking, mosaics, paper crafts, sewing, and more!  Your creativity is the only requirement so go ahead and pitch us an idea for a cool new class at the studio.  Classes related to creativity but not necessarily craft-focused will also be considered.

Full-Time Retail Salesperson

If you are an energetic self-starter this is the job for you.  Spark Craft Studios seeks an experienced retail salesperson to join our team full-time (35-40 hours per week).  Ideal candidate will have experience working in a specialty retail or hospitality setting and demonstrated sales ability.  Knowledge of craft supplies and techniques is a plus, but it is more important that you have the talent to engage and enthuse customers on the sales floor and the determination to learn as much as possible about our products and classes so you can increase sales while delighting customers with their purchases.  Must be available to work a combination of days, evenings and weekends, as needed.  This position pays a base hourly rate which is competitively set above MA minimum wage, plus a commission on individual sales.  Send letter of interest detailing your experience to: jobs@sparkcrafts.com with Attn: Full-Time Retail Salesperson in the subject line.
