Crocheting I & II
In Crochet I, you will learn how to select materials as well as the
skills perform the 5 basic crochet stitches (ch, sc, hdc, dc, tr). By the
end of the class you will be well on your way to making a simple scarf.
Crochet II begins with a review of the basic stitches. Then you are
introduced to "not just for grandma" granny squares and reading patterns.
You will leave this class with a completed granny square and the ability to
tackle your first crocheting project! Limited to 6 students.
Supplies: Supplies may be purchased at Spark before class.

Crocheting - Textured Patterns

Learn how to make commonly used patterned stitches. These patterns can
be used to add texture and design to sweaters, afghans and ponchos. You
will make swatches of the following patterns:
Shell Stitch, Ripple Stitch, Cable Stitch and Raised Puffball Stitch.

Discover the art of making images in your crochet! Learn how to map out
pictures on graph paper and create beautiful colored images in your

Make delicate and unique necklaces and bracelets by crocheting wire
and adding a variety of beautiful beads. Wire crocheting techniques and
bead layout and design will be covered.
Limited to 8 students.

Stitch n' Bitch - FREE!
Join our Stitch n' Bitch sessions! Bring your knitting or crocheting project and your coffee
and sit with other knitters and crocheters. All levels welcome.
Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 9:00 pm (no fee).
Please note: This group meets most Wednesday evenings but may
be canceled due to limited space in the studio. It is a good idea
