Beaded Jewelry Intensive
Learn all about beaded jewelry making in this 6-week intensive program. Classes (in sequential order) include: Basic Bead Stringing, Wireworking I, Wireworking II, Knotting with Silk, Silver Wire Hammering, and Crocheting with Wire.
Fee: $195 for 6 classes. Includes beads and materials to create 7 pieces of jewelry.  This is A $50 SAVINGS over taking these classes individually. Students will need their own tools for classes. Please see beaded jewelry making section for details about which tools are needed for which class.  Students may purchase tools and books at Spark Craft Studios during classes at a 10% discount.

Beginning Knitting Intensive
Learn the basics of knitting, including how to knit, purl, cast on, bind off, increase, decrease and knit in the round. In this 6-week intensive course you will make a scarf, a pair of mittens or socks (depending on the season) and a hat. This course provides a solid foundation in knitting basic techniques necessary for any project and is recommended for those who are new to knitting. (See knitting section for specific class information.) Limited to 6 students.
Supplies: Supplies are not included in the class fee and may be purchased at Spark before classes.

Intermediate Knitting Intensive
Comfortable with the techniques you learned in your beginning knitting intensive? The Intermediate Knitting Intensive is the perfect series for an intermediate knitter ready to conquer new challenges in knitting. Learn the steps necessary to knit with any fiber by exploring knitting gauge and making swatches. Experiment with a variety of techniques involving various stitches and color work. In this 7-part class we will cover: knitting to gauge, stitches and stitchionaries, color work, pattern reading, charts, and pattern design.
Supplies: Supplies are not included in the class fee and may be purchased at Spark before classes: The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns: Basic Designs in Multiple Sizes & Gauges, a variety of needles, and any yarn you have been dying to knit with.

Advanced Knitting Intensive
Ready to strike out with alternative techniques and more complicated projects? Try our new Advanced Knitting Intensive for knitters secure in their ability to knit with limited supervision and guidance. The Advanced Knitting Intensive is the perfect series for an accomplished knitter ready to hone their skills. Learn what you can accomplish applying the skills you have mastered in new ways to different types of projects, or experiment with alternative techniques. Discover how inspiring it is to knit along side other talented knitters. This content of this class with be self-determined with goals you set for yourself and will vary from person to person.

Crocheting Intensive
Learn to crochet in this 6-week session which includes Crochet I, Crochet II, Textured Patterns, Tapestry Crochet (Making Images in Crochet), Hats and Crocheting with Wire.  (See crocheting section for specific class information.)

Sewing Intensive
Learn to sew in this 6-week session that includes Sewing I (Tote Bag); Sewing II (Apron), Sewing III (Skirt) and Sewing IV (Special Projects Workshop). (See sewing section for specific class information.) Limited to 6 students.
Supplies: Supplies are included for Sewing I. A materials list will be provided for students to purchase their own supplies for Sewing II - IV.
