Retailers win excellence awards

Retailers Association of Massachusetts went
searching for excellence – and found it. The
association scoured the Bay State for the best and
brightest examples of retailing done right. The
winners of RAM’s annual Awards of Excellence, listed
here, will be honored today during the RAM annual
meeting and awards ceremony at the Sheraton in
Newton.
Best retail shopping district: Mashpee Commons, Mashpee
Retailer of the year: The Black Dog, Falmouth
Rookie of the year: Isis Maternity Inc., Needham
Community service: Modell’s Sporting Goods,
Brockton
Creative concepts in retailing: Spark Craft
Studios, Somerville
Visual display: My Fair Lady, Cotuit
Best restaurant: b. good, Boston
Advertising & promotion: Teddy Bear Pools and
Spa, Chicopee
E-commerce initiatives: Shoes to Dye For, Natick
Retail Hall of Fame: Yolanda’s, Waltham
